Tonaquint

Overview

Roughly 600 acres of this approximate 3300 acre block are likely to be developed due to terrain and political issues. A master plan for the largest portion of the developable area of this block is going forward with anticipated approval and annexation by St. George likely coming by the end of calendar 2009. The Tonaquint block has many characteristics that make portions of it desirable for development:

  • This block’s proximity to the main parts of St. George
  • This block is easily accessed from I-15
  • The block has utilities running parallel to and through the property.
  • There are numerous recreational opportunities associated with this block, including: hiking, climbing and mountain biking.

Even with these factors however market conditions will dictate that development will still be 5-7 years out.
